Software quality and documentation from one experienced specialist
I help software teams improve product quality, reduce delivery risk, and make complex systems easier to use and understand. With more than 20 years of experience across web, mobile, desktop, SaaS, and regulated software, I combine practical quality assurance with clear technical communication.
My three core disciplines are closely connected. Manual testing discovers unexpected behavior and usability problems. Test automation provides fast, repeatable feedback on critical workflows. Technical writing turns verified product knowledge into documentation that users, administrators, and developers can rely on. Clients can engage me for any one of these services or combine them according to the needs of the project.
I provide exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and user-journey testing for software products at every stage of development. My approach goes beyond checking acceptance criteria: I investigate risks, challenge ambiguity, reproduce failures, and communicate results clearly so that teams can make informed release decisions.
I design and implement maintainable automated coverage using Playwright and TypeScript, including end-to-end browser tests, API validation, reusable fixtures, and CI/CD integration. The objective is not to automate everything, but to provide dependable feedback where automation delivers genuine value.
As a native-English technical writer with hands-on QA experience, I create accurate, task-focused documentation for users, administrators, developers, and implementation teams. I can develop a new documentation set, restructure existing content, or provide ongoing support as a product evolves.
I can work independently on a defined deliverable or become a reliable extension of an established product team. I am available for short-term assignments, release support, and ongoing freelance engagements, working remotely or attending on-site sessions in Germany when required.
