My experience in viewing products from the perspective of a user (as software tester and technical writer) gives me a sharp instinct for software defects allowing me to catalog issues in a short space of time, producing concise issue reports that effectively communicate problems to developers, and which can easily be re-tested at a later date by a project newcomer.
